This Month's Topic: A Reefer's Buying Guide

Ever wondered why products in this hobby are so expensive while others are so cheap? Ever wondered what makes a particular coral worth so much more than another. Ever wondered what pump would be best for my application? What lighting system is best for me? This is one of those meetings that will provide you the info that will definitely save you money.

In this months meeting, we will answer those questions and more! Maybe.

Well, on second thought........We will discuss the factors to take into consideration that will help you make your own decision. We will also have our ever famous raffle which will contain live goods from Amazing Aquariums & Reefs and/or Sea Dwelling Creatures. Dry goods coming from companies such as Warner Marine, Brightwell Aquatics, and many others.

SCMAS meetings are open to all non-members as well! We would love to have you there.

ATTN: We will also discuss plans for the next group buy and plans for our next field trip.

is there a difference in these meetings and the iemas meetings... whats the difference since i never go to any of them and want to check a few out

They are a bit different IMO. Hard to describe the difference but they are different. SCMAS has a larger base of very experienced hobbyist. Many of them keeping sps tanks for 10+ years. IEMAS is a smaller club but we do share a few members too. I think you should try out both but I would also recommend you try IEMAS since they are soo close to you.
